Acceptance
By accessing or using Larasin (the web app, mobile apps, or larasin.com), you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Definitions
- "Larasin", "we" — the provider of the cross-school and campus social platform
- "You", "user" — an individual who creates an account or accesses the service
- "Content" — text, images, video, audio, and other material you upload, send, or share through Larasin
- "Service" — all Larasin web and mobile features currently available
Eligibility and accounts
Larasin is for Larasiners in Indonesia — students and alumni. You must be old enough to agree to these terms in your jurisdiction — we recommend at least 16 years of age.
One person may have only one personal account. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You can delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for the 30-day grace period and what data is deleted.
Registration and authentication
New accounts are currently created with Google Sign-In. You may add a password after registration for an alternative sign-in method.
Information you provide must be accurate. You may not impersonate someone else or use a false identity.
We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk to other users.
Permitted use
- Take part in school, campus, and relevant topic discussions
- Build an academic and professional profile
- Interact with other users through follow, like, and direct messages
- Share content that complies with community rules and applicable law
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Larasin for the following (aligned with the Community Guidelines):
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, intimidation, or content that makes others feel unsafe
- Spam, excessive promotion, or misleading content
- Illegal content or infringement of others’ copyright or intellectual property
- Child sexual exploitation or abuse material (including CSAM). We will close related accounts and may refer the matter to authorities
- Pornography or sexually explicit content
- Sharing someone else’s personal data without permission (doxxing)
- Attempting to access another user’s account or data without permission
- Disrupting the platform (attacks, excessive scraping, exploiting bugs)
Your content and license
You keep the rights to content you create. By uploading content, you grant Larasin a non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to display, store, distribute, and process that content on the platform — according to the features you use and the visibility you choose (public, followers, or community).
This license ends when you delete the content or your account (including after the account-deletion grace period), except copies we must keep for legal compliance or limited technical backups.
You warrant that you have the right to upload the content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
Other people’s content
Most content on Larasin is created by users. Views and material in the feed, profiles, or DMs belong to the posting user — not official Larasin views.
Do not copy, distribute, or reuse someone else’s content without permission, except through reshare features the platform provides.
Direct messages
Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Messages are stored on our servers and may be reviewed when handling a valid report.
Do not send illegal content, harassment, or material you do not have the right to distribute. Users who do not yet follow each other can interact through a message-request flow.
Moderation and reports
Larasin provides report (posts, profiles, conversations) and block features. Text in posts, replies, polls, bios, and direct messages is scanned with a prohibited-phrase filter before it is published. User reports are reviewed manually; we aim to act on reports within 24 hours (hide or remove content, and disable accounts when needed).
The text filter does not include automated media-hash scanning (for example PhotoDNA). Image, video, and audio attachments are still reviewed through user reports and the moderation queue.
Minor violations may receive a warning. Repeated or serious violations may lead to feature limits, temporary suspension, or permanent account closure.

Accounts and termination
You may stop using Larasin at any time by deleting your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may limit or terminate your access if you violate these terms, community rules, or applicable law.
Privacy
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Larasin, you also agree to that policy.
Larasin intellectual property
The Larasin name, logo, interface design, and platform code belong to Larasin or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without written permission.
Third-party services
Larasin integrates with third-party services (for example Google Sign-In and push-notification providers). Use of those services is also subject to each provider’s terms.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available 100% of the time.
We are not responsible for user-created content or for other users’ actions beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, Larasin is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Our total liability to you for claims related to the service is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
App updates
For security and compatibility, we may require a mobile app update. Versions that are too old may be blocked from the service until you update from the official app store.
Changes to the service and terms
We may change, add, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes to these terms will be announced on the site or in the app before they take effect, where feasible.
Continued use after changes take effect is treated as agreement to the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will first be resolved through discussion; if that fails, through the competent courts in Indonesia.
